Hear the voice of the the Sky Father, the Horned One, the Grain Lord, the Shaper, the Hero, the Trickster,

Who of old is called Ouranos, Zeus, Odhinnr, Apollo, Freyr, Ra;
Cernunnos, and Pan, and Baphomet, and Buffalo;
Adonis, Osiris, Iacchus, Xipe Totec, Balder, and Orpheus;
Hephaistos, Goibhne, Morpheus, and Svartalfr;
Heracles, Perseus, Odysseus, Aeneas, Gilgamesh, Cuchulain, Arthur, and
Beowulf, and Luke, and Muad'Dib, and Sheridan, and Frodo;
Hermes, Prometheus, Buddha, Amor, Odin, Loki, Maui, Raven, Coyote;
And by many other names:

I who am the thundering sky, the laughing cloud and the dancing rain,
The ripening corn, the bright sun shining
On golden fields of waving grain,
He who is both Hunter and the Hart that is slain,
He who is born, thrives, dies and is born anew
It is I who calls and beckons to you.

I call you to rise and to fall with Me who is
The substance of all Flesh,
For I am the Bread and the Blood by whom
All that lives finds growth and is sustained.

My blade opens the red gate of the Flower of Birth;
I cleave the wound that gives Death, that gives Hope,
And that heals. Through me all is doomed and destroyed
And renewed!

Mine is lust for the joys and the pleasures of Earth,
I'm the Master of the turning and returning Wheel.
I give myself to the Mother and spring forth again.

I'm the fox that eludes the snare,
The Titan who steals the sacred fire, Or piercing the mountain for the Mead of Ecstasy,
I'm the laughing Child absconding with the Cattle of the Sun.

Let My worship be in the heart that is bold! For behold all
Acts of courage and daring are my rituals.
You who seek to dance with Me, know that your seeking and
Yearning is of no account, unless you grasp My mystery:
All growth springs from death, all journeying from leaving behind,
All power from understanding, all strength from the other side of fear.
Behold! I have been within you from the beginning, and I am that
Which is attained in the pursuit of desire.
