An Element Meditation

A White Light mixed with a multitude of swirling colors surrounds you. Nothing can bring you harm as long as you stand in the light.

You find yourself in a river, about chest high. Feel the power rushing past you. Become one with the river. Feel the life force flowing in the water.

All life must have water to survive. Just as Water must have all life, else it becomes stagnate and rank.

Lay back in the water and float, don't worry you feel the water hold you up. You won't sink, let the Undines carry you along its current.

As you float notice the birds in the trees. Deer coming for the gift of life, a cool drink.

You feel the ground as you stop your journey.
You get up and feel the sand on the beach. A mix of Earth and Rock.

Feel the power vibrate in the Mother beneath your feet. It is spring and the Mother is awakening from her winter rest. Listen to her, What is she telling you.

Look closely at your feet, You see an earthworm, small and slimy, You think it is hardly worth your time. But you keep watching and listening. You hear a voice. Even the smallest of creatures has value.

You begin to understand. The worm mixes the soil and helps to make the Mother rich for the rebirth of nature.

You walk down a path, small and tiny but you manage to go forward. You come upon a stone circle. You hear the sound of ancient chants. Songs of Praise created long ago. You know the circle of Stones have seen Tens of Thousands of Sunrises and sets.

This is Stonehenge. The worshippers are Druids. All.

You walk over to a stone. Feel the energy. Does it speak to you? Listen to its wisdom. The Priest comes over to you. Puts his hand on your shoulder.

He welcomes you to this festival. You feel the energy of countless ages.

You know this is a Special place. You feel the song of the earth.
Singing loudly, you wonder why all of humanity can not hear it.

Then as the sun breaks through the stones. You feel the searing heat of fire. You feel the passion for all things bursting in your very being. Passion for life, love, and the Gods. You feel the fire engulf you. Then carry you away.

You dance in the flames, You feel the fire stripping away old ideas and unneeded baggage, but leaving you renewed, and fully charged.

You come to rest in a grassy meadow. The breeze is gently blowing. You see the birds playing in the air currents flying almost out of sight and then coming back in to view. They seem so happy.

Then with out warning the wind picks up and blows harder.

The animals run for shelter. The skies turn black. But you are not afraid. You know in the fields of life, storms arise. Often with out warning. But you trust the winds, to give you strength. You hear a voice that tells you.

Sometimes it is better to bend and survive then stand unshaken and be uprooted. Just then you notice a tree. Tall and proud it has stood for years. But in seconds a strong gust of wind throws it to the ground, while the tall grasses around it bend and way. But when the storm is over they return to stand tall once more.

You know the tree is serving a plan as a family of rabbits starts to make their home in its trunk. You hear a nether voice. Nothing is ever a waste. But you must be willing to be used. You may not understand, but just know...you always rest in our hands.

Take a deep breath and reflect on what you have heard this day

Count backwards for 10 to 1 take slow berths each count

Feel yourself ground and center, as you become aware of you surroundings.
