Wind Meditation
It would be a good idea to print this out and voice
record it on tape, speaking slowly and clearly, so that you can play it
back while you are meditation and visualizing.
Picture this from your own point of view. You are walking
atop a green, grassy plain. The sun is shining brightly overhead in a
clear, deep blue sky. You can feel it's warmth on you back. A light
breeze ruffles the grass around you and blows the hair back from your
face. You come to a stop and experience these sensations.
A comforting warmth spreads through your body and you
feel yourself lift into the air. As your feet leave the ground, you feel
a tingling sensation in your fingertips that moves through your hands,
up through your arms, and gradually throughout your body. You realize
that you are transforming into energy, a pure white light.
The breeze picks up again, carrying you high into the air
into stronger current that move you foreward over the land. As the wind
carries you faster and faster, you look below you. You see the grassy
plain give way to lush, green forest. You smell the ancient pine trees
and the wild woodland flowers. You see a lake as you pass over it and
you are suddenly surrounded by wild canadian geese. You can feel their
graceful wingbeats and hear their voices as they fly alongside you.
After a few seconds they leave your side and dive for the water, their
throaty calls echoing through the mountains.
The tingling sensation returns and you realize that you
must return to the earth. You draw closer to the ground and as your feet
touch the grasses your body fully returns to it's solid form. You feel
refreshed and alive. You are now spiritually one with the air.
